Re:gional arbitration roundtable in Belgrade

On 7th of November, Philipp A Peters participated at the roundtable organized by the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, with the aim of promoting regional arbitration and its institutions – Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) and Belgrade Arbitration Centre (BAC).

On 7th of November, participated at the roundtable organized by the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, with the aim of promoting regional arbitration and its institutions – Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) and Belgrade Arbitration Center (BAC). Mr. Peters, together with Dragan Psodorov (Joksović, Stojanović & Partners), identified and addressed the advantages of regional arbitration and its institutions, namely: cost-effectiveness, knowledge and communication in the local language(s), understanding of the culture and local procedures, excellent location, convenient travel connections. 

The event was organized in cooperation with YAAP and Arbitration Association under 40, VIAC and BAC and brought together lawyers, general counsels and members of the arbitration community from the region. The roundtable was followed by a networking event co-sponsored by Konrad & Partners.
